brian, faith & hope

I just love this family! Faith and I met at our mutual friend Mandy’s baby shower (be sure to check back soon for pictures of baby Charlotte!). I couldn’t have been more excited when she asked me to photograph her daughter, Hope!

It took us three tries to get these pictures of little Hopey! Attempt #1 – horrible weather! Attempt #2 – poor Hope had an accident and busted her lip! Finally on the the third attempt, we had wonderful weather with no accidents. :) They were up for anything so I finally got the chance to use one of my favorite chairs as little prop! I was antique shopping in Ohio with Dan 2 years ago when we came across a chair that I thought would be cute for kid session. I even lucked out that Hope’s outfit looked perfect with it!

Faith & Brian – Thank you for being so wonderful during the shoot & for patiently waiting for this blog post! I know you’ve been dying to see them! :)

Love does not even begin to describe how much I adore these pictures!!!!!! Nicole, you are incredible, and I couldn't be more happy with how these turned out!!!!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!!! Now we need to set up an appointment for Hopey's 2 year old pictures!! :) We've only got 5 months to go!!

October 30, 2009 - 7:26 am Dona Hope East - Wowzie wow! Indeedie do! These are fab pics of precious Hope. Better than anything I've ever seen of her. My fav of Hope is #11 with the chair. Who has more character...the chair or little Hope? My fav of the family is a tuffie. I guess #10. Hope laughing, Mommy looking at Daddy, Daddy looking at Hope. Can't get better interaction than that. I've said it before. I'll say it again. You are the best Nicole!
