Maxwell was Mr. Serious for his photos! His mom and I tried everything to get him to smile but he just wasn’t having it. 
Finally with all our crazy noises, clapping and peek-a-booing, we somehow managed to get a few tiny smiles out of him towards the end of the session. Isn’t he the best dressed little guy you’ve ever seen!? His outfit is adorable!

This cute little family happens to be related to me! Meet my oldest brother, his wife and my adorable nephew, Kolby! They are in town visiting this weekend from Salt Lake City. We don’t get to see each other that often because of the distance so this was our first time meeting little Kolby. I’ve been following their family blog since before he was born so it was so great to meet him in person. Of course I couldn’t let them leave without taking a few family photos!
I took these next two over at Grandma & Grandpa’s while we were all hanging out in the backyard. I just had to post them .. look at how cute he is!

I couldn’t be more happy for Sarah & Dennis! Sarah and I go waaay back. I was her first official Indiana friend when she moved from Ohio for a job at a photography studio where I was already working. We used to spend our Thursday nights eating chips & salsa at Chili’s and our Friday nights at P.F. Chang’s. I have no idea how I managed to stay skinny years ago, let alone not be broke!
After me moving from Indy to Ohio for school then back to Indy and her moving from Indy back to Ohio (are you confused yet?), we’ve still managed to stay great friends! When she first told me about Dennis, I was so excited to meet him. He’s such a nice guy!! When I found out they were getting married, I was soo happy! Both Dan and I have always thought Sarah deserved a wonderful guy and she’s found that in Dennis!
Their wedding and reception were both held at the Windy Knoll Golf Club in Springfield, Ohio (my 3rd Ohio wedding this year!). It was another one of those weddings where I couldn’t see very well to focus the lens because I was too busy crying. It ended up being a super hot day but everything was beautiful! I loved all the pink she used and her cake is by far my favorite cake I have ever photographed.

Little Wyatt was such a trooper during his pictures. He was soo tired and it happened to be one of the hottest days of the year! For him having to fight off sleep in crazy hot temps, I couldn’t be more happy with how his photos turned out! He’s soo incredibly cute I don’t think he could take a bad photo. The same goes for his parents .. aren’t they such a cute little family!?

I was so excited to meet little Noah! His Aunt Dawn happens to be one of my best friends. When he wasn’t taking short little power naps during the shoot, he was soo smiley! I’ve never seen a baby his age smile so much. It was so adorable! Speaking of adorable, check out that hair! Too cute.
I couldn’t be more happy for everyone in Noah’s family now that he’s finally here. He’s really lucky to have such wonderful parents and a family that loves him so much!
I hope I get to see him again soon!
